Continuous Learning Plan Implementation

Continuity in Crisis

When emergencies or disruptions hit, districts need more than good intentions – they need clear, workable plans for keeping instruction going and supporting students and families. By closely examining Continuity of Learning Plans from ten Tennessee districts, this project helps the state understand what worked, where plans fell short, and how to better prepare schools for the next disruption.

Fast Analysis for Fast Implementation

When disruptions are quick, solutions need to work quicker. At Basis, our job is to make solutions work by

  • reviewing and coding districts' plans, artifacts, narrative responses, data, and stakeholder survey results.
  • conducting focus groups with key players in each participating district.
  • producing district-level briefs that highlight strengths, challenges, and facilitators for the Tennessee State Board of Education.
  • developing a summative report on implementation challenges and facilitators.
